VALLASTE & PARTNERS Ltd was created in 1998 in result of reorganisation of management consulting company Mainor Konsultant - the first private company for business services in Estonia (established in 1986). The Company is specialised in management consulting and administrative services. The Company undertakes services in all phases of the project cycle, i.e. identification, preparation, appraisal, implementation, supervision and evaluation. The Company has a capacity to provide strong project management and consultancy back-up. The experts of the Company have been providing services for businessmen, enterprises and institutions of different countries and diverse backgrounds since 1979. The main areas of assignments: market analysis, feasibility studies, business planning, start-up, business administration and development, staff evaluation and recruitment, accounting and auditing services, tax advise. Since 1989 we have been providing personalised professional tax and accounting service to a wide variety of individuals, professionals, and businesses. Currently the Company performs the regular record keeping (incl. payroll mastering and reporting taxes) on 80 customers and prepares the statutory statements to authorities. The total number of different services performed is about 1000 per year. The experts of the Company have experience of working on EU projects. For example: Estonian Rural Business Development Project (1994-95, finance programme in support of SME development, micro-project management and monitoring), Technical Assistance for SME in Estonia (1993-95, formulation and implementation of SME policy at central and local levels, finance and credit programmes, establishment and management assistance of networks of Business Advisory Service Centres, staffing the Centres, organising conferences and training of advisors, pilot branch studies), Institutional and Human Resources Development Programme for Estonia (1996 - 1998, administrative management of the Language Training Programme). The Company participated in consortium leaded by Cotecno Srl (Italy) at Phare tender on the project of The Technical Assistance to the Estonian Investment Agency (1994) and in the Phare Regional & SME Development Consortium leaded by IBF (Belgium) for Phare Multi-country Framework Contract (1996). We have been serving short-term missions working in Estonia on projects funded by World Bank, British Know How Fund and different other bilateral donors. The Company employs 15 headquarters staff and has at hand 20 experts overall in Estonia.
